What’s Good Hip Hop?

There is so much on the Horizon for the Letter L Entertainment/Let’s Get It camp that’s it’s tough to know where to start. In addition, so much of our extended Hip Hop family is grinding so hard that there are a few things I wanted to talk about.

First and foremost, finally, a date has been set for Young General’s White Sox Fitted single release party. Congratulations to Young General for his continued success as the Chicago White Sox have decided to affiliate themselves with our camp and will be adopting White Sox Fitted as their official anthem for the 2011 season. If you are going to be in Chicago on Friday, February 25th, this is the place to be. Also, don’t forget that the song is still available on iTunes.

Young General & The Chicago White Sox Present: The “White Sox Fitted” Single Release Party. Come out and celebrate this special night with us.

This red carpet event will start at 10pm. $10 cover all night.

Special appearances by Young General, Mikkey Halsted, Twone Gabz & more!

Hosted by Al B. Sylk
DJ 33 1/3 on the ones and twos

Prize giveaways all night including:

USB wristbands
WSF T-shirts
Tickets
& More!

Bottle Service is available.

P.S. Don’t forget about the official after party sponsored by ChiIL Productions.

Next, I need to send shouts out to Naledge, Kids in the Hall and the whole Brainiac Society crew (What up Fooch, Vic Mensa!). While we can’t talk too much about it just yet, there is definitely new music brewing so look forward to that coming out of Chicago.

Next, I wanna congratulate the big homie Mikkey Halsted on the success of his album The Darkroom which was released shortly before Christmas. I heard the album and it is incredible. Including my personal favorite, Field Ni**a Blues. Don’t forget to check out the video for that song at http://www.hiphopmusicdotcom.com/mikkey-halsted-field-nigga-blues-video-ft-b-j-chicago-kid-freddie-gibbs.html. The album is available for download on iTunes.

Last but not least I want to send a special thank you to everyone that has been helping us on our journey over the last two years to make this hip hop thing happen for us. There are so many to name but you know who you are. We love you! Keep supporting good music!
